Craig Street Cats, founded in 2008, is Winnipeg's largest cat-specific animal welfare organization dedicated to community cat management. Initially started as a trap-neuter-return (TNR) initiative in the Wolseley neighborhood, the organization has grown to support over 100,000 community cats across the city.
With a rich history rooted in compassion, Craig Street Cats works alongside various partner organizations to advocate for humane solutions for Winnipeg's feral cat population. Although our adoption center is now closed, we continue to focus on our core mission through training seminars and spay/neuter clinics, aiming to reduce the number of free-roaming cats while providing essential resources to the community.
